The 12th day of the 12th month of 2012 saw the ceremony at which our highest ever number of graduates were awarded the MA: Digital Technologies and Communication: congratulations to all 29 of you! It was great to see those of you who could make the ceremony, but I hope you all are proud of your achievement. We also had eight students graduate with Distinction – again, our highest ever number.

Good luck to you all, and stay in touch if you can!

Congratulations to our summer graduates!

2012 summer graduations
L-r: Jenny Featherston, Rachel Scott, Stefania Spina Briffa, Hannah Crumbleholme.

Most MA: DTCE students graduate at Christmas, but every year there are a few who submit dissertations after Easter and then attend the summer ceremonies in July each year.

This year four MA: DTCE students, all of whom had studied on the course by distance learning, came to Manchester to graduate – for some it was their first visit to the city! Congratulations to Jenny Featherston and Hannah Crumbleholme (from the UK), Stefania Spina Briffa (from Malta) and Rachel Scott (from the UK but lives in the United Arab Emirates). Particularly to both Jenny and Stefania who not only managed to hold down a full-time job while studying but also to both have a baby during their time on the course!

Well done to them all!

Congratulations to the 25 MA: DTCE students who graduated yesterday (14th December 2011)! 15 were on-campus and 10 from the distance learning version of the programme. They have all worked very hard and deserved their celebration yesterday.

Special congratulations to Mark Jasper and Deena El-Shamy who graduated with Distinction: the latter as a distance learning student.

Well done to all, from the MA: DTCE team!
