On Thursday, 24th May at the Kanaris Lecture Theatre, Manchester Museum, we celebrated 10 years of MA: Digital Technologies, Communication and Education degree with an onsite event with talks on the past and future of digital technologies in learning. Read more

We have had the pleasure of rejoining with our Alumni, Camille Berry and Serrana Muniz, who have shared their stories and insights since graduating from the MA: Digital Technologies, Communication and Education degree.
Camille Berry is from Kingston, Jamaica and she joined the programme in September 2010 and graduated in 2013. Camille is a trained teacher who is currently a teacher educator at the University of the Wet Indies (UWI), Mona Campus.
Camille is also a single mother with 1 child – a son who is 4 years old and is currently pursuing her PhD in Education at UWI, Mona.
Serrana ‘Serri’ Muniz is from Uruguay. She joined the MA DTCE programme in 2014 as a Distance Learning Student until 2017. Serri is a platform training coordinator at Plan Ceibal, a plan of the Uruguayan government aimed to support Uruguayan educational policies with technology.

Monday 21st May 2018 marked the first of our events for the 10 years celebration that are taking place this week, a Question & Answer session via Twitter.
We have had an exciting panel of guests join us today from the programme. Dr Drew Whitworth, Wina Tirtapradja, and Amin Neghavati
Dr Drew Whitworth, is a lecturer of the MA in Digital Technologies, Communication & Education (MA DTCE) and the Director of Teaching and Learning Strategy at the Manchester Institute of Education. He was the Programme Director of MA DTCE during its launch in 2007
Our second guest is Wina Tirtapradja. She joined the MA DTCE in 2017 as an onsite student and is currently preparing for her master’s dissertation focusing on social media and politics. Wina is from Tangerang, Indonesia
Our third guest is Amin Neghavati . Originally from Iran, he joined in 2016 as a distance learning student. Amin also works as a training consultant with British Council Singapore & as an elearning consultant for a global British Council project
