Staff on the MA: Digital Technologies, Communication and Education, in collaboration with the John Rylands University Library, won funding in 2010 to convert the Media and Information Literacy course unit materials into an open educational resource for postgraduate research students. This recognised the innovative approach to the subject taken by the existing course, which was named as an exemplar of digital literacy education in the recent project, Learning Literacies for a Digital Age.
The resources are free to use by students and staff/faculty anywhere. They can be found by clicking on the tab at the top of this site, using the menu on the left or going to and bookmarking https://madigitaltechnologies.com/infoliteracy.
