Another successful graduate

Well done to Francesca Demontis (from Sardegna, Italy) who graduated in 2008 (from the final year of the MEd: Communication, Education and Technology, one of the two programs which were amalgamated into the MA: DTCE). She has just been appointed e-Learning project officer at the Royal Town Planning Institute in London. This is a charity organization concerned with urban planning and promotes good and environmentally friendly urban planning. Also, the RTPI supports members through continuing professional development (CPD) and works in partnership with universities and HE providers around the country to provide initial professional education and training for future professionals, and accredited qualifications.

The project she will be working on has been commissioned by the Department for Communities and Local Government and will be concerned with the developing of a web based learning resource and the delivery of an online portal to signpost RTPI members to CPD opportunities in four different curriculum areas – i.e. Planning for climate change, Development control to development management, Understanding development finance, and Developing LDF infrastructure delivery.

Well done to her and to all the other successful graduates!
